Christmas Eve 2017

Every family and every church has meaningful traditions that they look forward to each year.  For some, it’s the way we celebrate birthdays, or maybe it’s a made-up holiday that your family looks forward to.  Perhaps it’s the tradition of certain foods for special occasions.  For our family, we try and make homemade noodles for thanksgiving, Danae always wants a strawberry cake with chocolate icing for her birthday, and Sierra’s must have, is our ABC cheeseball.  Traditions are those things we look forward to year after year, whether it be food or an event or a gathering of some sort.

As a church family, we have our traditions too! For example, we all look forward to Church at the beach every Labor Day and going to Linefork for missions over spring break.  Serve The City and CAST are also some of our family traditions of serving together.  This past year we did our first Church Camping Trip and we hope to do that again in 2018!

Our Christmas Eve Candlelight service is also one of our favorite traditions here at Coastland’s.  It’s a time to be together and remember that Jesus is the Light of the World. It’s an opportunity to invite friends and neighbors to come to church and join us in reflecting upon the real meaning of Christmas. There is coffee and hot chocolate and cookies and laughter and love and Jesus!

Come join us on December 24th from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. as we enjoy the tradition of being together for our 2017 Christmas Eve Candle Light Service.
